Some of the best workouts that I’ve ever done are nicknamed “Girl” workouts in the CrossFit world. Workouts like “Fran”, “Karen”, and “Elizabeth” may sound familiar to you.
Sadly, in the past 10 years CrossFit HQ hasn’t released any additional Girl workouts… until recently.
Generally, when CrossFit does something like this, you can expect very similar (if not identical) workouts in competition. Because our Provo vs. Springville Competition is in alignment with the CrossFit Open beginning March 11th, I figured some of you may be interested in trying these new Girl workouts out:

3 Clean-and-Jerks, 135/95 pounds
3 Burpees over the Bar - “Ingrid”
10 Rounds for Time:
3 Snatches, 135/95
3 Burpees over the Bar - “Barbara Ann”
5 Rounds for Time:
20 Handstand Push-Ups
30 Deadlifts 135/95 pounds
40 Sit-Ups
50 Double-Unders
3-Minute Rest - “Lyla”
10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 reps of:
Muscle-Ups
Bodyweight Clean-and-Jerks - “Ellen”
3 Rounds for Time:
20 Burpees
21 Dumbbell Snatches 50/35 pounds, single dumbbell
12 Dumbbell Thrusters 50/35 pounds, two dumbbells - “Andi”
For Time:
100 Hang Power Snatches 65/45 pounds
100 Push Presses, 65/45 pounds
100 Sumo Deadlift High Pulls, 65/45 pounds
100 Front Squats, 65/45 pounds - “Lane”
5 Rounds for Max Reps:
¾ Bodyweight Hang Power Snatches
Handstand Push-Ups
Rest as Needed Between Rounds
