Hey Team
Happy SuperMeet day! I’m looking forward to seeing many RxFIT athletes compete this morning.
Here’s a recap of new systems implemented, the upcoming calendar, and a breakdown of next week’s programming.
New Systems
Any new system is always updated in the RxFIT playbook HERE. This playbook contains all of the standard operating procedures (SOP) for cleaners, coaches, and managers. Really, it contains everything from, “How to prevent the TV from turning off” and the annual plan for programming to a detailed list of all of the responsibilities of a volunteer at an event and event and subleasing agreements.
While long in length, everyone in the organization should at least be aware that this playbook exists. I update something in it every day, Monday-Saturday.
Upcoming Calendar
SuperMeet is TODAY! Murph is next weekend. Then we have Metcon Mania on a Friday night two weekends after that:
- Saturday, May 28: Murph in Springville (7:30/8:30/9:30 a.m.).
- Monday, May 30: Murph in South Jordan (8:00/9:15 a.m.) and Holladay (7:00/8:30 a.m.)
- Friday, June 10: Metcon Mania (Competition for the gymnastic and cardio junkies. Workouts will not include any barbells, kettlebells, dumbbells, or medicine balls)
If you plan on going to Iron Games this year on October 13-15, please let me know. We are planning on getting a big AirBnB to share with some of the athletes participating, so it would be fun to all stay together.
Additionally, if you want to be a volunteer for one (or all) of those days, let me know sooner rather than later. I am the Volunteer Lead for that event this year, so I’m in charge of rallying up all of the volunteers.
Next Week’s Programming
With a lot of hanging from the bar this past week, we will only be using the rig once next week–this is intentional so that athlete’s hands are recovered for Murph!
Enjoy this week’s episode at 1.5x-2.0x speed.
