Every morning I wake up early to write you a “love letter.” I call them love letters because of the process I follow:
Every day, I sit down with at least one person one-on-one and talk about their fitness. We’ll talk about different questions they have or a frustration that’s been bothering them. We discuss it for however long is needed and then they leave my office… but the topic usually stays on my mind for the rest of the day.
Because I usually go to bed thinking about it, I always wake up early the next day knowing what I’m going to write about. I usually start each blank page in the morning with the the phrase, “Dear ____ (whoever it was that I was talking to yesterday).”
I’ll write down my thoughts and then send it over in an email to that athlete–sometimes it’s a recap of what we talked about. Other times it’s something totally new that I went and researched. Regardless of the answer, I’ll then publish it to our website and send it to thousands of others on our email list–just without the “Dear _____” at the beginning.
I tell you all this because I put a lot of effort into improving your experience and relationship with RxFIT. It’s important to me that we are experts on fitness that guide you to the answers. Because of this, I sometimes write about the same topic a lot.
So if you ever find yourself thinking about a fitness question, or you’re frustrated about something else with your fitness, reference the search box on our website under the “blog” page. Here’s how to do it:
Surely there are some topics that I haven’t covered yet–but chances are that your situation isn’t unique and I’ve written/filmed a video about it before.
But also shoot me an email and let’s schedule a time to talk about it either in-person or over the phone. Talking to athletes one-on-one is the most important part of my job.
