Mark Mckellar & Tyler Welch

Tyler and Mark met back in the summer of 2012 at a youth church camp. Tyler from Ohio, Mark from Arizona, stayed in touch through the years and linked up in Fall of 2015 during their 1st year at Brigham Young University. Both having a love of CrossFit and Exercise, took over Provo CrossFit in December of 2016, then opened up their 2nd location in Springville in 2018. They have since rebranded the name to RxFIT in January of 2019. In 2021 they opened up new RxFIT Gyms in Holladay, Utah and Holladay, Utah. Their vision is to continue to open gyms and spreading the power of group classes fitness around Utah.

Coach Tyre has been with RxFIT since 2017 and a coach since 2018. She is married to Johnny (a truly beloved gym member in our community) and a mom to Luna the Lab.

Tyre is our Head Coach and has successfully ran numerous gym events such as the Sick2Well2Fit Health Challenge, Festivus Competition, Utah Spartan Race, Ragnar Race at Zions, and Hike to Timpanogos! Tyre coaches all the morning classes (4) in Provo, and is a particularly big favorite among the Provo members. Coach Tyre is a hard worker and a loyal friend to all at RxFIT. We love her!

Coach Miranda has been coaching for RxFIT since 2018 and has been in the community for 10 years. Coach Mig is the wife to Rob Merrell (a beloved gym member in our community) and a mom to 3 beautiful kids.

Coach Fernanda has been with RxFIT since the beginning of 2019, and has been in the community for the last 10 years. There's never been another coach we've had that is more passionate and excited to coach, than Fernanda.

Coach Kyle has been a member of RxFIT Since Fall of 2019 and a coach since Summer of 2020! Kyle is an undergraduate at BYU studying Information Systems, and a huge bright light in the gym!

Coach Rilee originally joined RxFIT in 2018, and recently joined back as a coach in 2021! She's a Mom of 2 kids and has always been a lover of CrossFit! She got her L1 in December of 2018 and has experience in being a part of many different gyms.

Coach Morgan has been a member of RxFIT since 2018! She is a student at BYU studying Information Systems in the Marriott School of Business. Morgan is currently interning at the gym and holds the responsibility for Social Media, On- Ramp Sessions, and overall Marketing.

Nutrition MinorChris has been doing CrossFit for 9 years and coaching for 7 of them. He grew up being a very active individual and my passion for sports and movement was always there, but he seemed to have lost that over the years - until he walked into his first CrossFit gym.

He was challenged not just physically, but mentally and emotionally and soon after, he fell in love with the community and the changes that were taking place to his body, and my mind.In his free time he plays a lot of golf. He’s always down for a good sweat and LOVES jumping into class workouts with the community. Human movement is a big part of his life and through his participation and coaching in CrossFit that he has had throughout the years, it has given him many opportunities. He’s convinced that how we do anything is how we do everything – and it’s his great pleasure to instill that in my members every single day, doing what he loves

Kim is excited to join the Rxfit family and has brought with her an enthusiastic passion for life long fitness. She began her fitness journey after the birth of her last child, with an invitation from a friend to run a few miles with him.

With that invitation, she continued to progress and eventually began to train and has since run multiple marathons and half marathons. Looking for a change, she stepped into a Crossfit gym where she picked up a barbell for the first time at the age of 40. She found a community of dedicated athletes no matter if they were new or seasoned. She is also the director of The Launch Team, a not for profit youth organization that trains and prepares youth to complete half marathons.She has 5 glorious daughters and a darling husband who she says is the best cheerleader a girl could ask for.

Taylor has a passion for coaching and helping people be their best. She enjoys being part of a community that motivates and encourages each other. Taylor also loves cooking and learning more about nutrition. Taylor’s favorite thing is to be outdoors hiking. She loves living here in Utah, getting to go boating in the summer and skiing in the winter.
